The Upstairs Art Gallery is located at 1063 G street, Arcata, across the street from the Arcata Theater and inside Umpqua Bank.
Except for major holidays, the gallery hours are Monday – Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, until 6:00 pm on Fridays and until 8:30 pm for Arts! Arcata.
The gallery is small and intimate with 52 linear feet of wall space with spot lighting. The space is dedicated to the uncluttered viewing of artwork and is generously provided by the Arcata branch of Umpqua Bank. The gallery is cooperatively managed for artists to exhibit their work to the public. Postcard printing and design is contributed by Bug Press of Arcata. Signs, electronic announcements and this website is provided by Meridian Fine Art. Management is by Suk Choo Kim. Questions about the art or artists are generally directed to the exhibiting artist and comments can be made on this website for the current show. Artwork is usually for sale. For such inquiries contact the artist (the gallery does not facilitate sales).
