About the Artist
From the natural world, especially of her home on the California North Coast, Susanna finds an endless transmission of essential beauty and teachings that sustains and shapes her work. Susanna began painting in 2002 after ending a 21year career as a graphics designer. She is predominately self-taught. Her work, acrylic paint on paper and her recent work on Tyvek, is a result of an intuitive way of painting that at times is also a meditation practice.
