About the Artist
Patrica Sennott is well known for her bold monotype prints and delicate
floral watercolors. She lives in Blue Lake where the sea air meets
the sunshine along the redwood coast of California.
Patricia's art is an exploration and expression of the natural world
and for inspiration she has traveled to remote places in the mountains
of California, Oregon and Nevada. Additionally, she spent three years
painting and teaching art in the Western Pacific Islands of Micronesia.
The tropics, her sense of color and love for nature are richly expressed
in Patricia's work and her art serves to represent how nature can renew
one's spirit and provide relief from the chaos so frequently persistent
in daily life. Patricia teaches printmaking at the Ink People Center
for the Arts in Eureka and her work appears in collections in Japan,
Micronesia and the United States.
